Soaring costs in housing, rent, transportation, and food have left countless individuals struggling to support themselves and their families. The suggestion to simply find better employment oversimplifies the intricate web of challenges that many face. These hardships stem from a combination of factors, including financial strain, lack of affordable housing, mental health difficulties, and personal crises. Numerous organizations in the area work tirelessly to address these needs, and the Progressive Women’s Action Coalition is eager to add to these efforts. To do so, they will host a yard sale where every item will be completely free of charge. If you are interested in contributing, below is a list of suggested donations for the yard giveaway and other impactful programs in our community. These resources continue to make a difference every day in the lives of those in need.
